Bible Verse of the Month
Whereas ye know not what
[shall be] on the morrow.
For what [is] your life?
It is even a vapour,
that appeareth for a little time,
and then vanisheth away.
James 4:14
Beautiful Ornamental Remembrances
Sadly, due to Covid restrictions, we had to cancel our Tree of Remembrance ceremony this year. We did, however, invite our friends and neighbors to come and put up their special ornaments in remembrance of their departed loved ones. There were so very many people who brought uniquely special ornaments, but our space in this newsletter is limited, so we just randomly picked four to share with you this year. We did not pick the biggest or try to decide the best – we just picked four we hope everyone will enjoy seeing. All four selections are below.
New Shoes
The Stevenson & Sons antique hearse celebrated its 100th birthday recently. This beautiful and completely functional antique vehicle has been meticulously cared for and kept in pristine condition. The eye-catching vehicle, which is often requested for use in a loved one’s funeral services, lives inside its own small garage in front of the Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. The specially built garage is enclosed by windows all around – so that people are free to view the beautiful antique, even as they drive by the funeral home. The Stevenson family knows that no birthday is complete without a gift. So to celebrate its 100th birthday, the antique hearse was fitted with four new custom tires at Rolling Rubber Point S in Miles City. Everyone is invited to come and view this unique, vintage vehicle – and of course, the hearse is available for use in services and funerals hosted by Stevenson & Sons. Call for any additional details you require, or to discuss employing the hearse with your pre-planner.
Inspiring & Touching
The following photographs show another one of the custom-built caskets that Stevenson & Sons of Forsyth had created at the behest of the deceased’s family. The colors were important to the deceased, and the white handprints are those of the deceased’s family. What a truly wonderful celebration of a life well lived.
