Introducing Steve Pearce
Steve is the Advance Funeral Planner at Fulkerson Stevenson’s in Williston, ND. Steve serves the people in the communities of Sidney, Montana, and Williston, Watford City, Tioga, and Stanley, North Dakota.
Steve was born and raised in Layton, Utah. While attending Weber State University, he began working with Skilled Nursing Facilities as a Business Office Manager, which he continued to do for 16 years. After moving to Pocatello, Idaho in 2011, Steve began working as an Advance Funeral Planner. While in Idaho, he served on the Bannock County Board of Community Guardians for nine years.
Steve Moved to Williston, North Dakota in 2021 where he joined the Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home group. Steve is continuing his profession of assisting families with pre-planning their final arrangements. His lengthy pre-planning experience and deep commitment help families avoid the emotional and financial burdens caused when family and friends are burdened with making all the decisions that come with making final arrangements.
In his spare time, he enjoys sports, camping, and reading.

We were all very proud to be voted by our community, for the first time ever, the best funeral home in Butte. We’re all very excited that this year, the tipping point finally arrived and our hard work and dedication to premium care and service for those who allow us the privilege of serving them was publicly acknowledged! The award is managed by the Montana Standard newspaper. which circulates to Silver Bow County, Deer Lodge County, Powell County, Jefferson County and Granite County mostly. Voting is done by area residents via the paper or online. Since we moved here, the prestigious award has always been presented to the fine establishment of Duggan Dolan Funeral Home.

A Touching & Beautiful Ceremony
The photos below were taken at the funeral for John “Jack” Cvancara on Thursday, June 6th at the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Stanley, ND. The burial was at Fairview Cemetery in Stanley. The horse and carriage were provided by Alan Lund of Tioga. Jack was a veteran of the US Army and was a proud and active member of the American Legion representing the military in the 4th of July parade in Stanley.
The ceremony and photos are by Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Homes in North Dakota.

Who’s eligible for Military Funeral Honors?
- Military members on active duty or in the Selected Reserve.
- Former military members who served on active duty and departed under conditions other than dishonorable.
- Former military members who completed at least one term of enlistment or period of initial obligated service in the Selected Reserve and departed under conditions other than dishonorable.
- Former military members discharged from the Selected Reserve due to a disability incurred or aggravated in the line of duty.
How to establish veteran eligibility
