And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. Luke 2:7

Standing Strong Together: Supporting Those Battling Cancer
Our Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home Family is so proud to be a supporter of our local non-profit organization “Bras for A Cause” and to have participated in the 12th Annual BRAS for A CAUSE Bra and Live Auction held here in Williston, ND. This amazing organization is dedicated to assisting the people of Williston and the surrounding communities who are battling cancer. They raise hundreds of thousands of dollars every year through their live auctions, cook offs and other community efforts.
This year’s entry “Harley Davidson -No One Rides Alone” bra was made by our Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Homes Office Manager, Billie Lockie. It was the highest grossing bra that was auctioned off that night at $3,200.00! We also donated a beautiful fall basket made by our Administrative Assistant, Zoe Liffrig. This was also one of the highest grossing silent auction baskets that sold for $250.00! Our Funeral Director, Kurt Baade donated his hand made dog food & water dish to the silent auction, which sold for $200.00! Our very own Funeral Attendant, Darwin Stevens donated his time through Stevens Auctioneer Services and entertained the crowd with his humor and talent going above and beyond to get the highest bid.
Our community is the heart of everything we do—it’s where we live, work, grow, and support one another. In times of challenge, it’s more important than ever that we come together to lend a hand, offer kindness, and lift each other up. Cancer is a fight that affects not just the person diagnosed, but their families, friends, and entire communities. Right now, there are countless individuals facing this tough battle—bravely navigating treatment, uncertainty, and the emotional toll it takes. When we stand united, we create a stronger, more resilient community where no one has to face hardships alone.
Planning Ahead
More and more people are realizing the many advantages of prearranging their funerals. The process is simple, and the benefits to the loved ones who are left to handle the arrangements are very well recognized and appreciated. To accommodate the growing need for professional pre-planning support, we provide highly trained and experienced Pre-Need Counselors at Stevenson & Sons:

Some of the benefits of prearranging are:
Pre-planning allows you to express your own wishes • It means that your loved ones will not have to make a number of important decisions during a time of mourning • Your funeral plan is transferable, in case you move away • It relieves your family of the financial burden • It allows your loved ones to spend their time comforting each other during a time of grief, instead of concerning themselves with the specifics of the arrangements • When pre-planning, there are both guaranteed and non-guaranteed plans available to choose from • It allows you the opportunity to discuss your final arrangements with family members to ensure clarity, and to ensure that those responsible are comfortable with all of your decisions.
