Bible Verse of the month
Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble. (Psalms 41:1)
Holiday Remembrance Services Will be Held at all of the Following Locations
- Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home – in Miles City hosted the annual Tree of Remembrance & Light Up a Life Ceremony at the *Parlor on December 3, 2019 at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Each year, the community comes together to remember and commemorate those we’ve lost. There is power in coming together to celebrate, remember and honor those who have left a legacy in our lives. We are also very aware of the pain and sadness the holiday season can bring to those who have lost a loved one, and this wonderful fellowship brings us all great solace.
A slide show, ornaments, and luminaries were used to remember those who we have lost. Attendees may also choose to bring an ornament, with your loved one’s name and dates, to place on our tree. After the service, those who would like to take their ornament home may do so or they may be left until after Christmas. Any ornaments not picked up at Stevenson’s after Christmas will be stored with the other ornaments and placed on the tree next year.
Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home has paired up with Holy Rosary’s Hospice program to remember together. This was a free event. Light refreshments followed. This year’s event was wonderful, and provided powerful support and affirmation for all. Thank you to everyone who came together to make this such an amazing and moving event.
This has become a special night for us and we hope that you will be able to attend every year.

Helping Others Really Helps!
A wonderful way to cheer up during the holidays is to help those who are less fortunate. Do some holiday volunteer work or drop off some holiday food at one or two of the local places that serve people and families in need. It’s a very powerful remedy for the holiday blues that can sometimes strike any of us. When you donate a turkey to the soup kitchen, you’ll immediately feel good inside – and you will have helped a neighbor have a happier holiday. And – the good feelings will last forever!
